Our three design principles keep fuel flowing to ensure every drop is recorded to make accounting, and fuel management easy.
Known to outlast the bowsers they were originally attached to, our units have survived floods, fires, and even being accidentally run over by heavy equipment.
Networked communications keep your records up-to-date in real-time. Your data is always available, and you don't need any special software to access it. USB access on the front of the panel provides access to data if you do not have a communication network.
Designed to deal with unstable power sources, such as generators, truck systems, and environments with high levels of electrical noise.
Access to fuel by vehicle and/or driver can be restricted by preselected times (such as from 9am to 5pm) and/or volume (such as a maximum of 500 gallons).
Configuring the unit is menu based, eliminating the need to enter excessively long codes or numbers.
An IP66 rated, powder coated steel enclosure ensures continuous operation in all conditions. Tested temperature range form -15°F to +130°F, and microparticle proof rubber seals stop dust, insects, moisture, and water from entering the unit. Multiple gaskets further enhance its protection.
Easy to service the unit with plug and play modules. Each is clearly marked and can only fit in one place. No need for special technical or electrical skills.
NFC (Near Field Communications) for easy user or vehicle identification, with long lasting proximity cards and/or fobs. You also have flexibility to gain the data you want, and how you want it. Access can also be provided via PIN, iButton key, VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), and/or AVID (Automatic Vehicle Identification).

Fluid Management Technology are extremely efficient and an easy company to deal with for both their sales and support of their products. Their product knowledge enables them to understand the client’s requirements and offer them the best and most cost-effective solution for their project.
An example of this is that I recently I had to present to a board of directors and accountants for a big mining company in Perth. FMT flew over and presented their product and answered many questions from the board – which assisted me in offering my client exactly what they required.
FMT have developed new technology and are always evolving products that continually grow and develop their business, which in turn, helps us grow our business. If every company operated like FMT, our work lives would be so much easier.
Marano’s Fuel supplies petroleum products throughout the Far North of Queensland, delivering to remote communities from Townsville to the Tip of Cape York Peninsula.
We love the new SmartFill GEN 2 Fluid Management System for its ability to allow us to manage multiple sites from one central location. It is accurate and records real-time data, allowing us to provide quick and reliable information to manage our business. The SmartFill system has given us the ability to install tanks in remote locations and monitor our tank capacities and sales automatically, without the need to go anywhere near the site except to refill tanks.
Their hardware is of a high quality construction and adapts neatly into our sites. They have developed a reliable product with excellent back up support, with a professional organised team. Our company will continue to use the SmartFill Fluid Management Systems into the future.
Smart Fill GEN 2 has automated the whole process. It orders fuel to our inventory, it records fuel usage to the job and it tracks the equipments’ fuel use onsite, including hire equipment. This system saves a lot of man hours, and with fuel prices in the current economy, it’s good to know we can monitor and account for every single drop.
The SmartFill OPT was installed at our site at Inglewood, SA to give the local community 24/7 access to fuel. The team at fluid management technology have made the process so easy – from installation to training and ongoing support. The OPT is easy to use for our customers and the online access via the website gives live accurate readings and makes the overall management of the fuel simple. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product to anyone who wants to reduce their labour costs and offer their customers 24/7 access to fuel.

No driving, no climbing, no guessing. SmartDip tells you how much fuel is in your tanks, anywhere, anytime.

The SmartFill Outdoor Payment Terminal is our way of making unattended fuel sales easy.
Our Outdoor Payment Terminal means you can easily sell fuel at sites that are unattended, like truck stops, small retail stores and service stations after hours. It is easy to install, and it has a large display and intuitive on-screen menus that make it easy to use. It supports all major credit and debit cards like Visa, Mastercard and American Express, so people can pay with PayWave or card and PIN. It also recognises account cards and SmartFill NFC fobs.
The Outdoor Payment Terminal works with all popular pump brands as well as with a pump and flow meter setup.
It’s built on top of our SmartFill Gen 2 modular hardware, which is proven in the field. And that modular design, along with Verifone’s robust hardware, mean this Outdoor Payment Terminal sets a new standard of reliability in its field.
It makes maintenance easier, with an extra-long printer roll, and alerts when the paper’s getting low. And for people who don’t want or need the paper receipt, they can have their receipt sent to their mobile by SMS.
The SmartFill Outdoor Payment Terminal can work your existing tank gauging system, or you can use our SmartDip system for total control over your fuel inventory. You can also see your tank levels onsite at the unit, or on the SmartFill website, and you can be notified of tank levels throughout the day, by email or SMS, or get alerts when a tank level gets low. From the website you can also set up alerts for when printer paper is running low or has run out as well as when the unit goes offline.
With your systems on autopilot, you can see your sales data in tabs and graphs, and you can generate reports in a couple of clicks. And the best part is, there is no ongoing cost for using the website.
The SmartFill website makes monitoring and managing your assets simpler for owners, accountants, and financial controllers.
